Getting Started as a Free IQ Affiliate Today

In the first in a series of training events, Shawn Casey teaches the basics of doing business with Free IQ.

Listen to the recording of the training call after the jump, or head over to the Free IQ site. If you would like to participate in live calls, just join Free IQ and do the free upgrade of your account. We'll be letting you know about the events.

In this first call Shawn covers:
  • How to make money with Free IQ
  • The best ways to refer people to Free IQ
  • What to do to get started right now!
You will learn details about first and second level referral affiliates as well as first and second level content affiliates, and how you earn from all of them.

After this call you will understand the importance of building value with great content as your number one goal with Free IQ right now, as well as how that increases the chance for you to generate leads and Free IQ referrals.

Shawn will introduce his own personal series of help videos which he has produced for you and explain how those will help you get ahead of the curve today, as well as the various ways for you to invite people to the site.

And lastly, you'll understand the importance of the various kinds of feedback you can provide as we, collectively, work to improve this beta version of Free IQ.

So go check it out, and get started!

Conversations at the Web 2.0 Expo

Robert Scoble, Andy Edmonds and I had a great chat at dinner after the Web 2.0 Expo Tuesday night. Robert's amazing career over the last few years demonstrates the power of internet video! At Microsoft, his reach was greater than any PR rep, and now, at PodTech, he has access to the leaders of the software industry with the ScobleShow.

Robert's book Naked Conversations is a great read and lays out the benefits of blogging and authentic conversation with your customers.

Along the lines of the Cluetrain Manifesto, I read Naked Conversations awhile ago and have wanted to meet Robert ever since. Check it out if you get a chance.

By the way, this photo is about 4 minutes before we discover that Robert's car window got smashed and my laptop and bag got stolen. (If you meet who took it, ask them if I can have back the powerpoint from my presentation at Mike Filsaime's conference in New York. One day, I will learn to back things up -- argh.)

But it was worth it to hear Robert's ideas about where things are going. Keep an eye on him!
